- Lesson 1 - The "Parousia" of
Jesus Christ
This is the first lesson of the "Close of the Age" Series. The
"parousia", that is, the coming, the appearing of Jesus
is the focal point of the consummation of the age. Everything
that the Lord has purposed in Himself is brought to completion.
Our understanding of End Time events must fit into the overall
process of God's intention to destroy the works of the devil and
to unify all things in Christ Jesus. The way or manner of the
coming of Jesus is discussed along with the purpose of His
appearing.

- Lesson 2 - Timeline of Sequence
of Events
WARNING! This is not a contemporary, traditional
interpretation of end time events. A picture of end time
events are built into a timeline on a scripture by scripture
basis. The close of the age is given as an overview beginning
with I Corinthians 15:23-24 with a detailed discussion of the
resurrection of Jesus as the first fruits of the harvest, the
first resurrection of those who are Christ's at His coming and
the last resurrection to stand before the Great White Throne of
God.

- Lesson 3 - Outer Darkness and
Overcomers
WARNING! This is not a contemporary, traditional
interpretation of end time events. Jesus described a place
called 'outer darkness' that doesn't correspond to Hell, the
Abyss, or the Lake of Fire. This lesson discusses Jesus'
meaning of 'outer darkness' and its purpose. The requirements
and rewards of overcoming are also discussed and contrasted with
the 'outer darkness' situation during the Millennium Kingdom.

- Lesson 4 - Antichrists Among Us
From John's day to ours, there have been and are antichrists
among us. The Spirit of Antichrist is at work to bring forth THE
Antichrist, the man of lawlessness, the son of perdition. This
lesson explores the Scriptures about the way that antichrists
come and where they come from and the nature of the Antichrist.
The difference between false Christs
and anti christs is examined and what that means to us in the
close of the age. One of the primary marks of the close of the
age is deception, particularly as it relates to the coming of
Jesus and the end. Deception in this area is designed so that
those who do not love the truth will receive the lie and be
deceived.
The Antichrist is the fulfillment
of man as god as promised by the Serpent in the Garden of Eden.
He is man reaching his fullest potential without God and
becoming a god unto himself.

- Lesson 5 - Daniel's 70 Sevens
This lesson takes a detailed look at the prophecy of Daniel
chapter 9 of the Seventy Weeks. Laying aside what we have been
told, the class discusses what the Scriptures actually say about
the 70 weeks and how they are to be fulfilled.

- Lesson 6 - Matthew 24 Part 1
Scientists who dig up skeletons and put them together need the
backbone in order be able to do it, especially if it is an
unknown species. Matthew 24 is the backbone of prophetic end
time understanding. The words of Jesus are the key to all of
the pieces of the end of the age prophecies. Both Daniel and
Revelation fit to the backbone of Jesus' words. This lesson
puts Matthew 24 into proper perspective from the viewpoint of
the Jews. A verse by verse exposition details how Jesus
answered the two questions asked by the disciples.

- Lesson 7 - Matthew 24 Part 2
This lesson continues the verse by verse exposition of Matthew
24 by looking at verses 29-31. Further emphasis is made for
Matthew 24 to be divided into two sections with each section
answering one of the questions of the disciples. Section one
answers the question about the destruction of the Temple and
Jerusalem and section two answers the questions about the Lord's
return and the close of the age.

This lesson continues the verse by verse exposition of Matthew
24. Section 1, which answers the question about the destruction
of the Temple, is completed and Section 2 is begun concerning
the return of the Lord. There is more than normal discussion

- Lesson 9 - Sheep and Goat
Nations
This lesson concludes the Close of the Age Series. The judgment
of the sheep and goat nations from Matthew chapter 25 is
discussed. By the time of this judgment all believers have been
resurrected and are in their resurrection bodies; therefore,
there are no born again believers in the sheep and goat nations
that are being judged. There is more than normal discussion and
class interaction in this class.
